How does the Toyota Bird’s Eye View Camera Work?
So how does it work? How does the vehicle get an actual bird’s eye view from above? Well, it doesn’t. Don’t be disappointed, because the technology used is still really cool. The vehicle makes use of four exterior cameras, one on each corner. The cameras capture the surroundings of the vehicle and use the data to intelligently create a bird’s eye view image.
How to use Toyota’s Birds Eye View Camera
To use the Bird’s Eye View Camera simply turn on your vehicle, remain in park, turn on parking assist, and press the Bird’s Eye View button located above the display. The camera view can be switched by pressing the Bird’s Eye View camera button again. The camera can also be used once the vehicle is put into reverse or shifted into drive.
