Thanksgiving comes at one of the most busy times of the year. Everybody is trying to establish a winter routine, or shape their regular routine around the unique challenges winter presents while, at the same time, preparing for the busiest holidays of the year.
Here in the greater Boston area, we know that Thanksgiving is here. Still, as the temperature gets colder, the company keep staying cozy inside only gets warmer. For many people in the area, going out on Thanksgiving is an opportunity to enjoy the kind of extravagance that the holidays permit without having to worry about household accommodation or cleanup.
We get a chance to enjoy delicious food and time with loved ones in the context of an event – dressing up, getting things together and heading out to one of the many areas restaurants that is open on Thanksgiving.
Or, if you’re not somebody who traditionally celebrates Thanksgiving, knowing what restaurants are open allows you to still enjoy the day and go out without running into that dreaded feeling of walking up to a restaurant only to see their lights out and their open/close flip sign set to “Sorry, We’re Closed.”
