2021 Performance Output and Towing Capacity

Just like in previous versions, the 2021 Toyota Sequoia will share an engine platform with the automaker’s full-size pickup truck, the Tundra. Under the hood of the Sequoia will be a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter, V-8 that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. It will produce up to 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. Customers choosing to properly equip their 2021 Sequoia will be able to tow up to 7,400 pounds.

How much interior space does it have?

The 2021 Sequoia will have three rows of seats that will hold up to eight passengers. A driver and their front passenger will have up to 42.5 inches of legroom to use. People sitting in the second row can use up to 40.9, and third-row passengers will be left with more than 35 inches.

In terms of cargo volume, very few other vehicles will be able to match what is offered by the 2021 Sequoia.

When the SUV is at maximum passenger capacity, there is still 18.9 cubic-feet to put to use. Folding the third row down will open the cargo bay up to 66.6 cubic-feet, and when the rear of the vehicle is properly configured, a maximum of 120.1 cubic-feet can be used.

A large touchscreen, access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suite of apps as well as a Wi-Fi hot spot are all available.
