Key responsibilities:
Greet customers and determine their service needs by actively listening and asking relevant questions
Write clear and accurate repair orders and estimates based on customer concerns and technician inspections
Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, including cost estimates and timelines
Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicle
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service
Recommend and sell additional services and preventive maintenance when appropriate, based on vehicle condition and manufacture recommendations
Maintain detailed records of all service interactions and vehicle repairs
Ensure a clean and organized service desk area
Stay up to date on vehicle recalls, service bulletins, and dealership promotions
Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency with Tekion is a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
