The 2019 Toyota Corolla has six available trim levels. They are the L, the LE, the LE Eco, the XLE, the SE, and the XSE. The trim level with the lowest starting Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price (MSRP) is the L, which starts out at $18,700. From there, the trim levels go up in price, although the range in price is not huge. The most expensive trim level is the XSE, with a starting MSRP of $22,880, making the range less than $5,000.

As you can see in the chart above, there are stark differences between the lowest and highest trim levels, but they have very similar fuel economy ratings. That is because they both have the same 1.8 L 4-Cylinder DOHC 16-Valve engine with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). In fact, five of the six trim levels come with the same standard engine, although some may have other available engines. The 2019 Toyota Corolla LE Eco is the one trim level that has a different standard engine. It comes with a 1.8 L 4-Cylinder DOHC 16-Valve engine with Valvematic technology. This earns it different performance specifications from the other trim levels, including its superior fuel economy rating. It also has Normal and ECO driving modes to drive eco-friendly.
