The 2020 Toyota RAV4 introduce that model’s fans and buyers to what is possible from a technological standpoint. Both the 2020 and 2021 versions of the Toyota RAV4 will offer a full suite of connectivity options like a smartphone-compatible infotainment system that will have universal access to both the Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ suites of applications. Additionally, both model years are available with Amazon Alexa compatibility as well. Owners with even higher data or connectivity needs will be able to use a high-speed 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.
Dimensions for passenger space and cargo volume will be the same for both the 2020 and 2021 Toyota RAV4 models. Each vehicle will offer two rows of seats that can hold five passengers. Either RAV4 version will offer 37.5 cubic-feet of cargo volume behind the second row of seats and up to 69.8 cubic-feet to use when the rear seats are folded down.
Toyota has used the same powertrain for the RAV4 for several years. Both model years will employ a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that will be attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. 2021 and 2020 versions of the Toyota RAV4 will make up to 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Most of the popular crossover SUV’s trim grades will tow 1,500 pounds, but the Adventure and TRD models will be able to pull up to 3,500 pounds.
