2018 Toyota Land Cruiser vs 2018 Toyota Sequoia

The 2018 Toyota Tundra is a vehicle designed to take on any project that you throw at it. With a powerful engine, great towing capacity, and wealth of great features, it’s guaranteed to please anyone. However, this great truck is not without its competition! The 2018 RAM 1500 is a strong competitor, and that makes it tough to pick between them.

Both of these vehicles are excellent choices for those SUV lovers out there, but they both offer different experiences for their drivers. Since they’re not in the same category, one being a luxury SUV and the other being a standard SUV, it wouldn’t be fair to pit them against one another. Instead, we’ll take a look at both and let you decide which SUV is the one for you!

2018 Toyota Land Cruiser

We’ll start with the new Land Cruiser, which has a starting MSRP of $84,315, considerably higher than the 2018 Toyota Sequoia, but it also offers a lot of bang for the buck. Featuring a 24.6-gallon fuel tank, a maximum horsepower of 381, a maximum torque of 401 lb-ft, and the ability to tow up to 8,100 lbs, the new Toyota Land Cruiser offers all the power of a pickup in a luxurious package.

In addition to its performance features, the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser also offers a wide variety of premium interior features, which help push it to the realm of luxury. These include eight-passenger seating, 81.7 cubic feet of cargo space, a leather-trimmed and heated steering wheel, and two available 11.6-inch screens placed behind the driver and the front passenger seat, to just name a few.

2018 Toyota Sequoia

The 2018 Toyota Sequoia also has a lot to offer, being the reason that it took #2 in the standard Full-Size SUVs of 2018 list. The new Sequoia has a starting MSRP of $48,400, and offers a performance equal to that of the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser, at 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. It has a lower maximum towing capacity, however, being nearly 1,000 Lbs lower than the new Land Cruiser.

The new 2018 Toyota Sequoia has its own line of great interior features, though they may not be as luxurious as the new Toyota Land Cruiser. The Sequoia offers a single 9-inch display and an available Blue-ray Disc player to go with it, as well as many other great infotainment systems.
